The Iowa Department of Transportation is seeking public input on a proposed bridge replacement project on U.S. Highway 30 over the Boyer River in Crawford County. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2028. Traffic will be detoured along U.S. Highway 59 to County Road E59 into Dow City during the project. Access to properties near the construction site will be maintained throughout the process. Residents and stakeholders are encouraged to review project plans and share feedback by Jan. 20. Comments can be submitted through the Iowa DOT’s website or by contacting Sarah Tracy, a transportation planner with the agency, at the District 3 Office in Sioux City.
