The 2025 Iowa Legislative Session opened yesterday (Monday) and featured the swearing-in ceremony for the chamber’s newest members, including District 11 Representative Craig Williams of Manning. The legislative session began for Williams with the oath of office for his term, which runs through Jan. 10, 2027. This is Williams’ first term in the Iowa House, though he previously served in the Iowa Senate for the former District 6. Williams will serve as vice-chair of the Local Government Committee and on the Transportation, Judiciary, and Environmental Protection Committees.
