The City of Pomeroy has been placed under a water boil order until further notice. The order is issued beginning immediately (Tuesday) until two samples return free of contamination, which can take approximately 48 hours. Residents will need to boil water for at least one minute of planned to be used for consumption, which includes drinking, cooking, washing dishes, brushing teeth, and other similar purposes.
