A spaghetti dinner and silent auction fundraising event is scheduled for this Saturday to raise money for a 20-month-old boy awaiting a heart transplant. Back in November 2024, Conner Cook, son of Morgan and Joseph Cook, was diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy and heart failure. Conner has been receiving treatment at Children’s Nebraska, while waiting for a heart transplant that could take up to six to 12 months. To help with medical expenses and relieve some financial strain for the family, everyone is welcome to come out to the VFW Hall in Manning for a spaghetti dinner, with salad and breadsticks being served from 4 to 8 p.m. To go orders are also available by calling or texting 712-830-9130. The silent auction will be open until 7:30 p.m. that night. Again, the family of Conner Cook invites everyone out to a spaghetti supper this Saturday night starting at 4 p.m. at the VFW Hall in Manning.
