Monday’s Carroll County Board of Supervisors is expected to be a brief one, with only a handful of items on the agenda. The supervisors convene at 9 a.m. at the Carroll County Courthouse and open with a report from the Iowa Communities Assurance Pool (ICAP) on the county’s 2025 property and liability insurance renewal. The board will acknowledge receipt of an inspection at the Carroll County jail and consider approval of a depository resolution and Treasurer’s Office semi-annual report. The only other items of business on the agenda are to set a public hearing for a routine Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 budget amendment, acknowledge a recommendation from the Carroll County Planning and Zoning Commission to dissolve existing 28E agreements in the county pertaining to cities’ two-mile zoning control, and committee reports.
