The Carroll Community School District (CCSD) is looking for volunteers to participate in the Tiger Mentoring Program, to assist students build skills and achieve success. The district has partnered up with New Opportunities to provide a free resource to students to build connections with members in the community, in a safe and supportive space to promote academic, social, and emotional well-being. Mentors are asked to donate two hours a month, or 30 minutes a week for a session with a Carroll Middle School student, focusing on one specific aspect of that student’s growth. Meetings are one-on-one and an be done at Carroll Middle School or at the New Opportunities, Inc. office.
