Business and community leaders celebrated all things Carroll last night (Thursday) with the 2025 Carroll Chamber of Commerce Banquet. Tim Fitzpatrick returned to emcee the night’s festivities, which featured addresses from outgoing 2024 Chamber President Hans Auen, 2025 Chamber President Ryan Milligan, and Carroll County Growth Partnership (CCGP) President Mike Franey. Seven award categories were presented as well. Citizen of the Year went to Adam Schweers. The 2025 Humanitarian Award was presented to Lynda Dukes-Franey. Tony Konkler was the recipient of the inaugural Hometown Hero Award. Auctioneers Steve Seidl and Chris Ludwig received the Good Neighbor Award. Two public service awards were presented, the first to Carroll Broadcasting Sports Director Jeff Blankman, and the other to Carroll At-Large Councilman LaVern Dirkx. Heritage Business went to Security Title and Investment Company, and four businesses were recognized with the New Business Award: Adaptive Audiology Solutions, TopLoft Clothing, Mrs. Glynn and Co., and A Fun Top and Jeans.
