The Carroll Community School District (CCSD) Board of Education is meeting on Monday with two public hearings, the exchange of opening offers for school staff salaries and more. First on the agenda will be opening the public hearing for the 2025-26 school calendar, which will potentially be approved later in the meeting. The second public hearing will be opening the Carroll High School roof project for bids. Board members will review opening offer from the Carroll Education Association (CEA) regarding teacher pay at the district, in which the board will present CCSD’s initial offer. Next will be the Carroll Education Support Association (CESA) opening offer for teacher associates, with CCSD’s offering to follow to begin the negotiation process. The board will also hear a presentation from Fairview Elementary administration and staff, approve donations to the Tiger Cupboard, consider selling a school bus no longer in use, and setting a public hearing date for the proposed property tax rate. The CCSD Board of Education meeting will be held on Monday at Adams Elementary School starting at 6:30 p.m., the public is welcome and encouraged to attend.
