The 2025 Carroll High School (CHS) Foundation Kindness Fundraiser exceeds $50,000 goal, with district students pledging to complete over 5,000 acts of kindness. The annual fundraising event kicked off on Feb. 11, with ten days scheduled to reach a donation goal of $50,000 for the CHS Foundation. Due to the unpredictable weather, the deadline was extended an extra week, with the goal being reached on Friday, Feb. 21, with a grand total of $52,465. All the donations go directly to teachers and students for projects that are not covered by the general fund. In the past year, the CHS Foundation assisted district teachers and admin purchase 3-D Shape Unit Kits, a new podium for CHS in the auditorium, provided activity passes for all students and field trips and in-class supplies. CHS Foundation Treasurer Katie Kruse says every year, she continues to be amazed for all the community members support and to watch the students spread kindness, positively impacting peoples’ day. She says staff and students look forward to the fundraising event every year, and she can’t wait to see what the sixth annual Kindness Fundraiser does next year.
