Christopher grew up in Coon Rapids, Iowa until 2009 and lived briefly in Centerville, Iowa from 2009 until his family returned to Coon Rapids in 2012. Christopher graduated from Coon Rapids-Bayard High School in 2018. He then went on to attend Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) and majored in Computer Sciences.
Christopher was a diligent and reliable worker which led to a successful career at John Deere in Ankeny, Iowa as a Professional Machinery Assembler in their cotton picker division. During his time at John Deere, he also contributed his skills to helping others in need and joined the Emergency Response Team (ERT) in 2023, which assisted fellow co-workers in all divisions during medical emergencies. Christopher was extremely proud of this responsibility.
Christopher had an infectious smile, a wonderful sense of humor, and a heart so big that he could always brighten a room. He genuinely cared about others and their interests. His kindness and compassion were always present because he was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it.
Christopher found joy in video games, sharing the next saga update of the Marvel Universe with his father, loved Michigan State Spartans, the Green Bay Packers, loved to fish, family vacations, staying connected with his sister, Samantha and her boyfriend Hayden, and had fun sharing his gift of laughter through cracking inappropriate jokes and shenanigans by filling plastic Easter eggs with raw eggs, replacing the cream in Oreos with toothpaste, putting googily eyes and plastic little ducks on objects around his parents’ house. He always welcomed the opportunity to spend time with friends and family and truly cherished every moment with loved ones.
Christopher met his best friend and the love of his life, Sierra Shore, on May 6th, 2020. His energy and humor matched her energy and humor. Christopher knew that Luke Combs said it best, “And if I’m being honest, your first name and my last name would just sound better together”. On May 20th, 2023, Christopher proposed to Sierra. The couple started to make their life together in Ankeny, IA, and moved into their first apartment in July of 2023.
Let us remember Christopher for the unique love that he brought to each of us, the laughter he brought to the very core our souls, and the joy he brought to our lives every single day. His passing is a reminder of the importance of family and how truly precious every moment is.
