The Carroll Fire Department responded to the Family Table restaurant this (Tuesday) evening for a grease fire that quickly got out of control. According to Carroll Fire Chief Dan Hannasch, crews were dispatched at approximately 5:34 p.m., arriving on the scene around 5:40 p.m. The fire originated in the kitchen on the commercial grill, quickly spreading into the ventilation system, with flames and smoke coming out of the roof. All customers and staff were able to exit the building with no injuries reported. The fire was contained in the kitchen area, with no damage to the restaurant’s seating area.
