Manning Regional Healthcare Center’s (MRHC) Wound Care Clinic has earned two top national awards from RestorixHealth, recognizing its excellence in clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction. The clinic received the Clinical Distinction Award and the Excellence in Patient Satisfaction Award for consistently meeting or exceeding national benchmarks, including a 90 percent healing rate, 32 median days to heal, and a 96 percent patient satisfaction score. MRHC’s clinic previously received these awards multiple times, along with a Center of Excellence honor in 2019. MRHC’s Kendra Tiefenthaler, a nurse in the wound care program, says, “We are proud to be recognized for the quality of care our wound center provides our patients. This achievement reaffirms our commitment to patient experience and optimized outcomes, which can only be accomplished with the effort and dedication of our staff and providers and support from the hospital. We look forward to continuing restoring health and improving the quality of life—and access to care—for the patients we serve.” The clinic specializes in treating non-healing wounds and preventing lower limb loss in the most severe cases, using advanced therapies and a comprehensive care approach.
