SMCH Auxiliary Trivia Night Raises $28,000 For Hospital

The Stewart Memorial Community Hospital (SMCH) Auxiliary’s February Trivia Night raised an impressive $28,000 to help fund the purchase of a new surgical bed for the hospital. The event featured 21 tables of trivia participants, creative costumes, and a strong community spirit. Organizers praised the community’s dedication and generosity. Volunteer Coordinator Mollie Scott says, “I love seeing the community supporting the Stewart Memorial Community Hospital. The funds raised will enhance patient care by supporting the donation of a surgical bed for Stewart Memorial Community Hospital. Major sponsors included United Bank of Iowa and Heart Strings Gift Shoppe. Additional sponsors included Mid Iowa Insurance of Lake City, Lake View, Essentia Protein Solutions Pte Ltd., and Rural Hospital Insurance of America. The SMCH Auxiliary also thanked contributors to the silent auction, prize donors, Lidderdale Country Store for catering, and Big Daddy Addy for providing entertainment.
