City Of Manning Public Works Will Soon Construct New Little League Field.0

The City of Manning will be constructing another Little League diamond to accommodate the increase in kids registered for the program. City crews are looking to build one additional Little League field this year, with potentially more to come. Public Works Operations Manager Justin Mundt says over 240 kids are signed up for this summer’s Little League program.

The Manning Rotary Club will grant $15,000 to help fund this project, which will cover the cost of nearly an entire field.

Businesses and individuals wishing to donate to the project can call City Hall at 712-655-2176. Mundt says he is excited to help promote such a project for youth sports in Manning.
