The Carroll County Board of Supervisors will host two meetings on Monday morning. The first meeting, beginning at 9 a.m. at the Carroll County Courthouse, is the public hearing on the proposed Fiscal Year (FY) 2026 tax levy, which is projected at $4.36351 per $1,000 of taxable assessed valuation for the urban levy and $7.58608 for the rural levy. Following the public hearing, the supervisors will adjourn and open a second meeting for routine county business. This agenda includes the approval of plats and payables and a resolution setting the FY26 funding for non-profit organizations that operate in the county. The board will host another public hearing, this time on the FY26 budget in its entirety. The only other items on Monday’s agendas are proposals for property tax suspensions, a hearing on a petition to vacate a survey, and secondary roads contracts for upcoming construction projects. Again, the March 24 meetings begin at 9 a.m. at the Carroll County Courthouse and are open to the public. Links to the agendas and the live-stream video are included below.
