Guthrie Center was recently featured as one of Iowa’s Best Small Towns for Vacations by Travel Iowa. Ten towns were recognized for offering various luxuries, including lodging, entertainment, and more, emphasizing being a rural community to “escape” from busy life. Guthrie Center’s unique Airbnb’s, main street shops, restaurants, and short commutes to many acres of natural parks, trails, and outdoor destinations were showcased, making the town stand out above others. Guthrie Center Chamber of Commerce says the entire community takes pride in offering everything highlighted, which shows that all the hard work and dedication to Guthrie Center is not going unnoticed.
