A Denison mobile home was destroyed following a structure fire early this (Tuesday) morning. The Denison, Vail, Manilla, and Dow City-Arion Fire Departments were dispatched at approximately 1:56 a.m. on a report of smoke filling a mobile home in the 1900 block of S. 3rd Avenue. Upon arrival, firefighters discovered the fire spread quickly throughout the mobile home and to a nearby vehicle. There were no reports of injuries immediately following the blaze, but the primary structure was deemed a total loss with likely heat damage to neighboring mobile homes. The Denison Police Department and Crawford County Sheriff’s Office also assisted at the scene.
