The boil advisory issued for the City of Pomeroy has been canceled as of this (Wednesday) morning. According to city officials, customers can resume using city water as usual. The order was issued Monday morning after crews cut pressure to the system in order to complete a water main repair on Main Street. Laboratory testing has confirmed the absence of bacterial contamination, bringing the boil advisory to an end.
