A Denison man is the next lucky individual who has won the second biggest prize for a Lottery’s “Lucky For Life” ticket. Alan Weltz purchased the ticket at Ampride Truck Plaza in Denison, matching the first five numbers but missing the Lucky Ball. Weltz won the prize of $25,000 a year for life. Iowa has seen some large winnings from the Lucky for Life multi-state game, in the past six months, men from Des Moines and Dallas Center previously won the same prize as Weltz, with another Des Moines man winning the game’s top prize of $1,000 a day for life.
