The City of Audubon invites residents to honor loved ones and individuals by sponsoring a new park bench through the Memorial Park Bench Program. The benches measure six feet long and are made of recycled plastic, resembling cedar wood with a black base. My Way Designs in Audubon will engrave a plaque with the sponsor’s message that will be attached to the bench. Memorial benches can be requested to be in any of Audubon’s four parks. The cost to sponsor a bench is $1,000. A link to fill out the online request form can be found included with this story on our website. Individuals may print the form and bring it along with the payment to City Hall during regular business hours.
