The Carroll County Board of Supervisors approved its Fiscal Year (FY) 2026 agreement with the Carroll County Paramedics Association during this (Monday) morning’s meeting. The contract includes a $1.50 bump in on-call pay and a 50-cent increase in tiered pay for emergency medical responders. Overall, the agreement represents an approximately five-percent increase in total pay for critical care paramedics (CCP), paramedics, advanced emergency medical technicians (AEMT), and emergency medical technicians (EMT). The motion from District 3 Supervisor Gene Meiners to approve the agreement passed with three votes in favor, none against, and District 2 Supervisor Mike Andersen abstaining.
