Raffle tickets are now available for the Auburn Public Library and the Auburn Historical Museum’s annual “Fun-Raising Raffle”. Over 65 prizes have been donated from surrounding businesses and individuals to support the organizations’ efforts in various programs and community projects. Tickets are available at the library and at the museum during regular business hours, or by calling the numbers that have been included below. Prizes range from a popcorn and movie basket to the 16-ton of limestone rock delivered to the winner. There are plenty of new prizes this year, including an Apple Watch, a solo-outdoor propane pizza oven and much more. Raffle ticket prices range from $2 to $25, depending on the specific item individuals are bidding on. Pictures of all the prizes can be found on the library’s and museum’s Facebook page. Tickets must be purchased by 12:30 p.m. on April 19, as the drawing will be held at 1 p.m. that same day. All proceeds from the raffle are then split between the library and the museum to cover costs of the summer reading program and various projects around Auburn, including the veterans’ banners hanging along Hwy 71 through town. Again, everyone is welcome to come purchase a ticket to win one of many prizes and help support the Auburn’s library and museum’s 2025 “Fun-Raising Raffle”.
