A Guthrie Center man is facing sexual abuse and incest charges after allegedly forcing his biological daughter to engage in sexual activity with him. According to Guthrie County District Court records, 50-year-old Davin Wade Seery allegedly performed sex acts on his 25-year-old daughter in the 300 block of Prairie Street in Guthrie Center four to six times from December 2022 to December 2024. Seery has denied any sexual contact with his daughter, stating that she has made these kinds of statements in the past. Seery faces two counts of third-degree sexual abuse, class C felonies, two counts of incest, class D felonies, and assault with intent to commit sexual abuse, an aggravated misdemeanor. A pretrial conference has been scheduled for May 19 at the Guthrie County Courthouse. Seery can face a maximum sentence of up to 32 years in prison and over $56,000 in fines if convicted.
