The 100+ Women Who Care Audubon County met on Wednesday for their quarterly meeting, awarding the Audubon Fair Board as their choice to receive the group’s donation. The volunteer woman group gather to review applications of various organizations throughout Audubon County to assist with projects, upgrades and more. The Audubon Fair Board will be using the funding for upgrades to their livestock scales, which will be installed and completed before the Audubon County Fair in July. Previous recipients of the 100+ Women Who Care Audubon County include The Friendship Home to replace a commercial washing machine, Audubon Park and Rec for improvements to a city park, and more.
