Two people were killed last night (Monday) in a motor vehicle crash northeast of Halbur. First responders were dispatched at approximately 10:30 p.m. to the intersection of 220th Street and Hawthorne Avenue. Initial reports are two people died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash, and one person sustained life-threatening injuries and needed to be airlifted from the scene for medical treatment.
