St. Anthony Regional Hospital Celebrates Two Nurses Named Great Iowa Nurses

St. Anthony Regional Hospital celebrates two nurses named Great Iowa Nurses through the Great Iowa Nurses Program. Jane Hackfort, RN, OCN, and Christina Johnson, RN, BSN, are two of the 108 nurses across the state selected for their quality of care for patients and serving as leaders and mentors for others in the profession. On April 9, St. Anthony employees, family, and friends of Hackfort and Johnson celebrated their achievements. President and CEO Allen Anderson says, “Jane and Christina are true examples of what it means to be a Great Iowa Nurse. They each bring extensive knowledge and leadership to their respective departments. We are proud to have Jane and Christina at St. Anthony Regional Hospital.” Hackfort has worked as an oncology nurse for over 25 years, assisting with infusions and chemotherapy. Johnson is a clinical nurse educator, focusing much of her time on educating staff on the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and STABLE for newborn and pediatric patients.
