With warmer weather now here, the popular drive-thru dinners in support of the Animal Rescue of Carroll are back for the season, beginning next week. Volunteer Karen Schouten says they’ll be offering the meal from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, April 21, at St. John’s Lutheran Church on 18th Street.
Schouten adds the meal has become quite popular in recent years and is one of many ways the Animal Rescue secures funding for its operational costs.
Schouten says the shelter relies heavily on volunteers and renews the call for those interested in helping.
To volunteer, call the shelter at 712-790-9116 to make an appointment. Again, the Animal Rescue of Carroll’s drive-thru dinner fundraiser is coming up on Monday, April 21, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the St. John Lutheran Church.
