Summer is quickly approaching, and the Carroll Aquatic Center has released the new hours for the 2025 season. A soft opening, which will include free admission for attendees, is scheduled for Saturday, May 24, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The pool will then be closed on Sunday, May 25, and reopen from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Memorial Day. The remainder of that week will consist of evening swim hours from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. through May 30. Saturday, May 31, is the first day when regular season hours begin, which will be from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., with water walking and lap swimming allotted from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. and opening swimming again from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Weekend swim hours will be from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Hours will adjust starting August 4, with a weekday of open swimming from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and weekends from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The last day of the 2025 summer season for the aquatic center is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 23. A pre-sale of aquatic memberships is currently available, with a single membership for a REC member starting at $90 and $180 for a family pass. Non-members can purchase an aquatic center membership for $95 for a single and $190 for a family. Memberships are available at the REC Office, or Saturday, May 24, at the Aquatic Center from 1 to 4 p.m. Memberships after May 24 will increase to $100 for an individual and $200 for a family. New this year, businesses can now sponsor an evening swim, with free admission for all attendees.
