Registration is now open for the Carroll Chamber of Commerce’s annual Color Fun Run/Walk, coming up in early June. This year marks a milestone for the event, as the Chamber hosts the colorful trek around Swan Lake for the 10th year. The 2025 festivities will be held on Saturday, June 7. The Color Run begins at 9 a.m. that morning at the park’s South Shelter and goes around the lake through 10 “color zones,” where sponsors will toss colored powder for participants to pass through on their way around the lake. The registration fee is $30 for adults, $20 for children between six and 12 years old, and kids five and under can join for free. Runners or walkers who register before May 30 will be guaranteed a race t-shirt. Same-day registration is available the day of the run, but t-shirt availability is not guaranteed.
