The Audubon County Road Department has announced that Eagle Avenue in the southwest corner of the county will be closed for over a month beginning in May for a bridge replacement project. County officials say the project is situated between 315th Street and 320th Street and will get underway on Monday, May 5. Eagle Avenue will be closed to through traffic for the duration of the construction, which is expected to be completed by Monday, June 16, weather dependent. No residences are directly impacted by the construction, but farmers may have to adjust their usual routes when traveling for fieldwork.
