No major injuries were reported following a house fire in Carroll late Saturday evening. According to officials, the Carroll Fire Department was dispatched to 226 N. Carroll St. at approximately 11:57 p.m. on a report of a fire inside a home. Upon arrival, firefighters found much of the house’s main level ablaze. Fortunately, the occupants were able to escape without any significant bodily harm. Crews remained on scene into the early morning hours to combat the blaze and bring the fire under control. The Carroll Police Department, Carroll County Sherriff’s Office, Carroll County Emergency Medical Services, and Carroll County Communications Center also assisted in the response.
