Bernita was a novice quilter, but she took great pride in making a very unique and personal quilt for each of her grandkids for their High School Graduation. She would also make sure she always had her famous cookies and cinnamon rolls ready for every occasion. She held several jobs but can be most remembered for her many years working at Commercial Savings Bank in Carroll as a bank teller. She enjoyed playing cards and being with her family and friends. She and Clayton also enjoyed jumping in the car at the spur
of the moment to go see their kids and grandkids-usually unannounced which was always a great surprise.
Most of all, we never tire of hearing how sweet of a lady she was.
