The 10 Squared Women of Guthrie County have announced the latest recipient of their quarterly donations. The Guthrie County Arts Council will receive nearly $11,000 to install public instruments at City Park in Guthrie Center. Fifty voting members attended the organization’s Aug. 10 meeting, 31 in-person and 19 virtual, to select this quarter’s beneficiary. Since its creation in January 2017, the 10 Squared Women of Guthrie County have contributed more than $150,000 in private member donations and company matches to community projects and nonprofit organizations throughout the county.
