At approximately 2:28 p.m. on Friday, March 18, fire units from Rippey and Grand Junction responded to a vehicle fire at 307 3rd Street in Rippey. A pickup truck owned by Melissa Wallace was pulled from the garage so the fire could be extinguished. The garage received only minor damage, but the truck was deemed a total loss. The Greene County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
