The City of Panora announced early Wednesday evening they had experienced a loss of water pressure earlier in the day and have issued a precautionary boil advisory for a quarter of the community. City officials say the issue occurred in water mains in the northwest corner of town, resulting in low to no water pressure for some customers. Residents who experienced this outage are encouraged to boil all water used for consumption for at least one minute until tests for bacterial contamination can be completed. This includes water for cooking, brushing teeth, making ice and other similar purposes. City officials will contact residents once the advisory has been lifted. Questions or concerns should be directed to Panora City Hall at 641-755-2164
