Glidden Woman Receives Several Citations In Accident Early Wednesday Morning

A Glidden woman has received several citations after an accident at the railroad crossing in Ralston. The Greene County Sheriff’s Office responded to A Avenue, near 1st Street, at approximately 12:35 a.m. Wednesday. The initial investigation concluded that 29-year-old Erika Pena-Baltazar lost control of the 2010 Toyota Sienna she was driving as she was crossing the tracks while the arms were lowering. Pena-Baltazar was uninjured. There was an estimated $6,000 in damage to the Sienna and Pena-Baltazar has been cited for failure to maintain control, no valid driver’s license, failure to properly stop at a railroad crossing and leaving the scene of an accident.
