State Cross Country Results Friday, October 30th
Michael Pottebaum of Kuemper- Class 3A
It was a windy day in Fort Dodge for the opening day of the State Cross Country Meet. Michael Pottebaum of Kuemper was making his second straight trip to the state meet and improved his time by 13 seconds over last year and moved up 25 spots. Pottebaum started well and looked to be running well through the first mile but the wind began to take an affect and he was passed by a few runners the last half of the race. He finished 63rd overall and ran a 17:30.
