Two vehicles suffered disabling damage but no injuries were reported in a Jefferson accident Thursday. The Jefferson Police Department was called to the scene at the intersection of North Oak and West Washington Streets at approximately 11:46 a.m. Elizabeth Dimarco of Durand, Ill. was northbound on Oak Street in a 2016 Chrysler Town and Country van. Everette Beebe of Jefferson was eastbound on Washington in a 2018 Ford Edge. As she entered the intersection, she was struck by the Dimarco van. Each vehicle had a reported $7,000 in damage and had to be towed from the scene.
