A Carroll man charged with felony burglary in Carroll County District Court will remain in custody through mid-January as he awaits a bond review hearing. According to trial information filed Monday, 30-year-old Brice Edward Shrimpton faces one count of second-degree burglary, a class C felony, for allegedly breaking into an occupied residence in the 800 block of North Court Street on Dec. 11. He is currently being held without bond at the Carroll County jail due to probation violations caused by his arrest. Arraignment and bond review hearings have been scheduled for Monday, Jan. 11. If found guilty of the charges, Shrimpton faces a maximum penalty of up to 10 years in prison and $10,000 in fines.
