When in-person classes at Kuemper Catholic High School were canceled last March, students who had already been working on a very special project were told they weren’t required to finish it. However, these four young women decided to continue on their own and recently presented their finished project to the St. Anthony Cancer Center. Morgan Bauer, Kaia Davis, Kerrigan Irlbeck and Megan Scott presented three peace poles to the center late last week for placement in the garden area. Each is emblazoned with a word of encouragement: Extraordinary; Love; and Courageous. Oh—and all four received an A for work on the peace poles. Morgan is the daughter of Alison and Jeff Bauer, Kaia is the daughter of Sarah and Spencer Davis, Kerrigan is the daughter of Kourtney Irlbeck and Scott Irlbeck; and Megan is the daughter of Susie and Curt Scott.
