The Carroll County Board of Supervisors will start their Monday, Dec. 28 meeting with a closed session. This is per Iowa Code Chapter 21.5(1)(c), “To discuss strategy with counsel in matters that are presently in litigation or where litigation is imminent where its disclosure would be likely to prejudice or disadvantage the position of the governmental body in that litigation.” Once they open the meeting to the general public, they will approve payables, review a valuation report for FY21/22 and review manure management annual updates. The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. and be livestreamed on the County’s YouTube channel, a link to which can be found below. Those wishing to make comments or ask questions on agenda items can do so prior to the meeting by emailing supervisors@carrollcountyiowa.org. To ask questions or make comments on agenda items during the meeting, viewers must create a YouTube account and then subscribe to the county’s channel.
