The driver was uninjured but there was an estimated $5,000 in damages from a single-vehicle accident Saturday in Guthrie County. A deputy with the Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office responded to Highway 141 near the intersection with Highway 4 at approximately 8:30 p.m. Forty-three-year-old Denise Katherine Beadle of Jefferson was westbound on 141 in a 2019 Toyota Rav4 and had come to the curve when the car left the road. Beadle told authorities the lane assist feature took the wheel out of her hands as it tried to continue westbound instead of taking her around the curve.
