The Wildcats played well through the 1st half, trailing by just 6 points at the half. A tough offensive 3rd quarter allowed the Cougars to pull away, dropping the Wildcats to 2-13 overall and 1-11 in the Rolling Valley Conference. The Wildcats were able to get good looks in the 3rd but couldn’t get shots to fall. They were outscored 14-1 in the 3rd as CAM Anita opened up a 19 point lead heading into the final quarter.
Glidden Ralston moved well on defense in the 1st half and kept the Cougars from getting dribble penetration. That helped them do a nice job on the boards as well. Carter Scott was able to get to the rim on the offensive end in the 1st half.
Carter Scott and Cale Klocke each had 10 points in the loss, Scott added a team leading 5 rebounds.
Glidden Ralston will host Paton Churdan on Tuesday.
