A Wall Lake man is jailed after test results on a substance seized in a September traffic stop came back positive for methamphetamine. Sac County Sheriff, Ken McClure, reports that 73-year-old Jerry Alan Lindner was taken into custody on Saturday, Feb. 13 without incident at his home. He is being held on a $20,000 cash bond in the Sac County jail on a class B felony charge of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. The charge stems from a Sept. 2, 2020 traffic stop at 7th and High Streets in Lake View, at which time the sheriff’s K-9 alerted to the odor of illicit drugs. A search of Lindner’s truck was conducted and a scale along with an estimated 8.8 grams of a substance believed to be methamphetamine was located. The suspected substance was sent to the Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) Criminalistics Laboratory for analysis, and they confirmed it was methamphetamine.
