An Alta woman was indicted Friday in Carroll County District Court for allegedly entering a Carroll home and attacking two people inside. According to court records, 42-year-old Kristal Lynn Miller, formerly of Carroll, faces one count of second-degree burglary, a class C felony. The charge stems from an incident on Jan. 22 at approximately 11:46 p.m. in the 200 block of E. 10th Street. Authorities allege Miller entered the victims’ residence and assaulted two adult occupants, causing them to fear for their safety and for the safety of the children inside the home. Her arraignment hearing has been scheduled for Monday, Feb. 22. She faces up to 10 years in prison and $10,000 in fines if found guilty of the charge.
