New Way Trucks, the Scranton-based private manufacturer of refuse equipment, is the largest in North America, and continues to expand on its distributor network. Last month, the company announced the addition of A/J Equipment, New England Truck Equipment (NETE) and Solid Waste Applied Technologies (SWAT). A/J Equipment will be responsible for areas in Rhode Island and eastern Massachusetts while NETE will cover Connecticut as well as Franklin, Hampden and Hampshire Counties in central Massachusetts and SWAT is responsible for sales and distribution in southeast Georgia. In addition to these new distributors, Sansom Equipment of Mobile, Ala. has expanded by adding the Atlanta metropolitan area and western Georgia.
