The Carroll Police Department reports a woman was killed following a single-vehicle accident Thursday morning. According to law enforcement, officers were dispatched to the 1900 block of Lois Avenue at approximately 10:47 a.m. Upon arrival, authorities located an unresponsive female near an unoccupied vehicle. Carroll Police Chief, Brad Burke, says the woman did not shift the vehicle into park before exiting and was caught beneath the wheels. Carroll County Emergency Medical Services responded, but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Carroll Broadcasting will bring you more information once official reports are released.
