Kuemper Boys Golf Picks Up First Team Win Against Atlantic Tuesday

The Kuemper Knights were able to squeeze past Atlantic on Tuesday to win their first golf meet of the spring season. As a team, the Knights held on to a one stroke difference of 163 to beat Atlantic’s score of 164. Maverick Schwabe of Kuemper would walk away with the reserve medalist honor with a score of 39. His teammate, Mitchell Badding, also scored a 39 with a strong performance throughout the day. Schwabe was two strokes shy of meddling, which went to Atlantic’s Braden Smith with a score of 37. The Knights will golf next on Friday, April 9th at Panorama.
