The Carroll Community School District (CCSD) Board of Education has released the agenda for their third special meeting of the week. Similar to the board’s meetings today (Wednesday), and Thursday, the reason for the Friday, April 9 meeting is to conduct interviews for the successor to Director of Business Affairs, Gary Bengtson, who will be retiring at the end of the fiscal year. The board will convene at 9 a.m. at the Adams Elementary School boardroom and will move to adjourn at approximately 10 a.m. following the conclusion of the interview. School officials do not anticipate taking any formal action during Friday’s meeting. Superintendent, Dr. Casey Berlau, expects they will be able to announce their chosen candidate by the end of May.
