Kuemper struck early with Catherine Mayhall finding Kiley Trecker for the goal and the Knights were on the board 2:12 into the match. They would control the ball on their end most of the match and score a couple late goals to put the match away improving to 3-5 overall. The Raiders were more aggressive in the 2nd half and played better but suffered their second loss falling to 4-2.
The Knights extended the lead to 2-0 on a goal by Catherine Mayhall on an assist from Karly Baumhover with 27:39 left in the 1st half. It would stay that way until halftime. Julia Mikkelsen made a nice stop near the net on a shot by Kayla Meyer midway through the 2nd half and Kuemper held on to the 2-0 lead. Karly Baumhover scored at 15:39 of the 2nd half and Kuemper looked to be pulling away up 3-0. Kayla Meyer answered and the Raiders had hope down just 3-1 with 10:55 left in the match. Kylie Feilmeier fed Kenya Prescott with 6:41 left to put it away putting Kuemper up 4-1.
Kuemper spread their goals out tonight with Kiley Trecker, Catherine Mayhall, Kenya Prescott and Karly Baumhover scoring. They moved the ball well getting assists from Trecker, Mayhall, Baumhover and Kylie Feilmeier. Ashyln Badding wasn’t real busy in goal but was solid again with 7 saves. The Knights took 13 shots on goal.
Kayla Meyer scored for East Sac and had both of the Raiders shots on goal. Aleisha Thayer was challenged most of the night in goal but did a nice job finishing with 9 saves.
Kuemper hosts Creston on Thursday and East Sac entertains Sioux City West.

Carroll went on the road and picked up their 2nd win of the season moving to 2-4 with a dominating performance. The offense kept the ball on their end and attacked the Riverside defense. The defense did a nice job of not letting pressure on the goal and Riverside only had 1 shot on goal.
The Tigers built a 3-0 lead by half and then opened things up in the 2nd half. Emersyn Walsh had her best match of the season and led them with 4 goals. Sophia Polking added a pair of goals and Mary Perkins and Macey Weber each scored a goal. Perkins added an assist. The Carroll goalies had an easier night with Jayden Kirsch finishing with no saves and Emma Hoffman with 1 save.
Carroll travels to ADM on Friday.
